And then she puked…

Good morning,

June is almost here. I can’t believe that half the year is almost over. It’s also about this time of year I take a look at where I am at on things. If I am off track, then I focus on how I can get better.

I was reminded the other day on just how important it is to stay focused when trying to get somewhere.

As I was driving the other day in my in our Honda Odyssey with my four kids Grayson, Harrison, Emmalyn and Coleston. It was a typical sunny day in Phoenix, and it was the typical noisy van with four kids. But somewhere in the back I heard the words “I’m going to be sick” of Emmalyn.

Shortly after that we all know what happened…

It’s something that happens often when you have kids. They are curios and they like to look around. They look out all the side windows to take everything in because they want to enjoy things. But the opposite happens.

Instead of looking ahead and keeping focus they look around and get an overload of information of things moving by. The brain can’t take it all in and all of the sudden a kid that’s lunch is coming out.

Life itself is a lot like this. It takes focus to get where we want to go.

Jack Canfield once said,Successful people maintain a positive focus in life no matter what is going on around them. They stay focused on their past successes rather than their past failures, and on the next action steps they need to take to get them closer to the fulfillment of their goals rather than all the other distractions that life presents to them.

We have more distractions in our lives than ever. Matter of fact we have more access to information than we ever have as well. All leading us to be unfocused.

It’s these “distractions” that we look to keep out of your view when we use the Value Driven Approach to help our partners when buying or selling a home.

Life is toughlife is unfocused… The great thing is we don’t always have to count on ourselves. We can look to others to help keep our focus. To keep us on course. It doesn’t always have to be something we do on our own.

We just have to want to FOCUS, and our lunch will stay in our stomach where it belongs. Step upstep out and unshackle my friends. :)
