Are You Expendable?
It’s a question that needs to be asked every day. Tom Brady is such a person that asks this about himself.
The man is the GOAT (greatest of all time). Not to my liking, I’m a Bronco fan. But it’s simply a fact.
I mentioned a while back how I watched a video series on Facebook about him (Tom vs Time).
It was amazing, to say the least. His dedication to his craft unprecedented.
He also knows that even a five-time Super Bowl champ is expendable. Why?
Because that’s how he got his job from Drew Bledsoe when he went down. Since that day he has never given a person a stiff of a chance to take it back.
It’s a good reminder that this is how we need to be with your professions. Technology is advancing faster than ever.
In a blink of an eye, we can become expendable to it.
That’s why back in November of last year I took a 30-day challenge to learn Clickfunnels. Simply put… they show you how you can make money online for your business or for others.
They are revolutionizing the way business is done. I would recommend this to anyone looking to change their life. If you’re a reader, you can order the book here for FREE.
I’m so grateful I took the challenge, though. After sitting in an empty open house this weekend I quickly realized how expendable I was.
I’ve met a lot of you in open houses over the years. The market was great, and a lot of people were coming in them. Recently though things have really slowed down.
What once worked for me has quickly dried up. Which can be a good thing if you’re prepared for it. Which the challenge did.
Sitting in that open house I realized I hadn’t done what I needed to do to keep myself from being expendable.
Now I’m working on Facebook ads that will get leads for mortgage brokers to get clients from.
The goal? Any approved leads that don’t have realtors will come my way. Helping me to provide for my family. Even if they don’t, I have a monthly fee I charge them that will still help me out.
I share this with you because I’m not some coder or guru that knows everything about ads. But I was nervous about providing for my family. So I figured it out.
Now more than ever there are tools for you to succeed out there. I know it can be scary. It has been for me.
But then I stepped out and I found a huge opportunity for me to add to my business.
I’m learning now more than ever this is one of the single biggest things in life we must do.
The good news is, you can to.
Have a great week.
