Assassins [Part 2]

Good morning,

Sales Assassins are hired for one thing. That’s to move in on people when they are most vulnerable after their home has not sold. They know that people are discouraged, frustrated, desperate, they are looking for a answer… They have one goal in mind and that’s to set an appointment to come by and convince the seller that they are the best at what they do. If this doesn’t work then, they go to plan B… Door knocking

When I first started in real estate, these were the tactics that others were showing me. I felt compelled to do them as well. Why?

Think about it…

When you don’t have a following or a real business model this is what you are forced to do. You have to go out and chase people down and try to sell them on your services. Nobody wants to be SOLD. Especially from someone that doesn’t have a PROVEN business plan. So how are they truly going to help you with your home sale?

YesI did these things in the beginning, but I knew it wasn’t the right way for me. That’s why I changed everything to a Value Driven Approach.

Let’s break the comment down, “hired 5 new sales assassins.

Us vs Them:

He “hired”… We take the time to really look at the core of people we work with. That’s why we “partner” with people instead. Partners are trusted and run things with integrity. Hired assassins are sent in to kill…

Them: ‘Sales’
Us: ‘Relationships’

When someone sales you something it’s like being a visitor somewhere. A one time show it put on so everything looks great. Visitors never stay, and they don’t look back. Where we look to have guests. You’re always welcome to stay, and we have a longlasting relationship.

Them: ‘Assassins’
Us: ‘Not Assassins’

Assassins only mission is to take down the prospect. We have a model of lifting people up. Sometimes that means delaying a sale. I recently met with some clients that needed to sell their home but it was right before Thanksgiving and Christmas. This tends to be the slowest time of year and worst time to get the best profit. I could have easily gone after the ‘Kill/Sale’, and advised my clients to put it on the market. Instead thought I suggested that we wait for spring when a ton of buyers come in the market.

Next time… you go to partner with someone… make sure you don’t get an ‘assassin.
