It’s Never To Late…
Good morning.
I was reading an interesting article this morning (ya, I’m running a little late on this email) from a gentleman I follow known as James Altucher. He was interviewing a lady known as Allison Task.
Allison is a lady that now has a cooking show on the Food Network. But that’s not how it always was. Matter of fact at one point she couldn’t even cook. At the age of 30, she found herself lost in the Dot-com world.
Knowing that she wasn’t cut out to be a “Dot-com” girl she went to culinary school.
This started what now the title of her book is called her “Personal Revolution.”
She later went on to work for Martha Stewart to learn the trade inside and out. She knew that if she could work for the best she would learn the skills to become one of the best.
Eventually being on set and working in the trenches an opportunity opened up as Martha was going to be visiting a jail cell. The food network was looking for replacements, and Allison was ready for the show.
So when asked “So how did you get a cooking show?”She said,“I asked.”
Everything that she had done before lead up to that point. For that one moment so when the opportunity came up she could take her best shot.
Now make no mistake you don’t have to be some business person to start your own “Personal Revolution.” It can be something as little as starting a new hobby or maybe starting to work out.
Here are some key takeaways from this interview to start your own “Personal Revolution”
It’s never too late to get started on anything.
You must be intentional on what you want.
Surround yourself with people you can learn from.
Don’t be afraid to ask for what you want.
Never stop networking and meeting people to push things forward.
These are also all key points that you should use when considering a Realtor to buy or sell your home. It’s important to be crystal clear in what you expect out of your Realtor in today’s competitive market. You deserve the best and no one should keep you from getting a home that fits all your needs.
It’s the single reason why we always follow the Documented Approach to doing things.
When you are crystal clear about the goals and objective it is easy to answer the question from people “how did you get a result like that?”
“Simple. I asked.”
If you like what you read then please write back. Thank you so much and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
