Plan X

Yesterday was Harrison’s (also known as hamburgers) my second sons birthday.

The transformers we got him were an unexpected hit. Sorry, grandpa. The tablet he got him was put aside. Who would’ve thought so?

I was glad I was here for it. I wrote why that was significant here on Facebook.

I’ve been taking some Sunday’s off lately and have been watching some football. I must say there are some high scoring teams out there this year.

One of them being the Saints. A few weeks ago they went into Dallas as one of the hottest teams going. Scoring tons of points on its opponents. But nobody told Dallas that.

Most expected a highflying game. That’s not what shook out. Dallas put on a defensive storm front and shut the Saints offense down.

They had a plan for X, but they ended up with Y.

Recently ESPN has been running commercials for the 40-1 odds day view of the 30 for 30. Buster Douglas VS Mike Tyson boxing match in the ’90s.

Mike Tyson had a plan for that night as well. But as you probably know he ended up losing his belts that night after being knocked out.

plan for X that resulted in Y.

Our plans don’t always go as we want. Sometimes no matter what do to make sure that they go as smooth as possible.

Sometimes those plans just aren’t meant to happen. Quite often they can lead to better things that when you look back you are thankful that it did happen.

The real estate market has been really good for the last few years. It still is good. Six months ago things were really crazy. Homes were selling in one day and with multiple offers.

Even with a good plan, it was getting quite hard to find a home. But things have shifted some. The market has cooled off. Especially now that it’s November and December.

Which means there are deals to be had. Which is good news for those that got frustrated with how the market was not too long ago.

So you might have missed out some months ago. You had a plan for X but you got Y But now that might lead you to a Christmas present Z.

Sometimes it’s good in life when things don’t work out.

Have a great week.
